A CAMPAIGN FOR OUR COMMUNITY

“LET’S GROW!” is the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga's five-year strategic capital campaign to serve 25,000 more families and individuals by 2028 (we serve 71,436 people as of July 2026).

FOCUS:

PEOPLE

Staff and board development. Recruit, train and retain our best people.

PLACES

Facility improvements for all branches.

PARTNERSHIPS

Explore partnerships with school districts, healthcare providers, other non-profits and local developers.

PHILANTHROPY

Nuture relationships with existing and future donors to expand giving to the YMCA.

CURRENT

As of October 2026, our YMCAs served 71,436 people.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership has grown by 12% from 2022-2025.

  • Transformation of J.A. Henry YMCA at new site (completed)
  • Renovation of Downtown YMCA Wellness Center (completed)
  • Renovation of Downtown YMCA "The PIT" (completed)
  • Cleveland YMCA Renovation (Phase One completed Sept. 14, 2026)
  • Expansion & Renovation of North River YMCA (Groundbreaking Jan. 2027)
  • Hamilton Adventure Center & Pickleball Center (On Deck)

CLEVELAND FAMILY YMCA

Cleveland grand reopening ribbon cutting

The Ocoee Foundation YMCA at Cleveland completed phase one of its $5-million renovation on Sept. 14, 2026.

NORTH RIVER FAMILY YMCA

The North River Family YMCA will break ground in January 2027 on a major expansion. The school broke ground on Aug. 27, 2026, for the new North River Elementary School that will be on our campus.
